ULTRA-SHIELD™ COATING
If a coating is required on any hose, it will consist of a thorough impregnation of the outer jacket with our high-tech, abrasion resistant, ultra-violet light resistant and moisture resistant Ultra-Shield™ polymer coating system. Formulated, developed and manufactured by North American Fire Hose Corporation, Ultra-Shield™ is the most effective and the highest quality coating system available in the industry today. Ultra-Shield™ is applied under tremendous pressure to completely saturate the jacket cross-section and is heat set in a two- stage process for maximum durability.
